Libyan revolutionaries battle their way into east of Gadhafi’s besieged hometown

" SIRTE, Libya — Libyan revolutionary forces on Tuesday battled their way into the eastern outskirts of Moammar Gadhafi’s hometown of Sirte, commanders said, in a bid to link up with anti-Gadhafi fighters besieging the city from the west and seize control of the loyalist stronghold.

More than a month after sweeping into Tripoli and ending Gadhafi’s nearly 42-year rule, Libyan forces still face fierce resistance from the fugitive leader’s supporters on three fronts — in Sirte, the town of Bani Walid southeast of the capital and in pockets in the country’s vast desert south.

Some of the heaviest fighting has taken place in Sirte, which anti-Gadhafi forces first attacked nearly two weeks ago, but have pulled back in the face of fierce resistance from loyalists holed up inside."

The propagandists really want to make you believe the blatant, naked aggression by NWO fascists against Libya is a homegrown uprising. So in an Orwellian maneuver they label the sides 180 degrees from what they actually are.
The real revolutionaries are in the Gaddafi government which took the country over from King Idris in 1969. Idris was a colonial puppet who had sold out to western banksters. Gaddafi, for all his supposed faults, reversed that and began using the country's resources to build Libyan society into the most prosperous in Africa. On the other hand the mercenary forces arrayed against the Gaddafi government represent western interests fighting to take the country back to monarchy from 40 years ago.
So ask yourself two questions - if the mercenaries are Libyan revolutionaries, why do they fly the monarchist flag? But of course the waters of the flag business needed to be muddied so you wouldn't catch the obvious answer to the above question. Also, if this is a popular uprising of the Libyan people against Ghadaffi, who's been painted as a villain in this drama, why are Libyans still fighting the invading forces?
