So Who's Pushing For War With Libya?

Neocon Hawks Take Flight Over Libya

"In a distinct echo of the tactics they pursued to encourage U.S. intervention in the Balkans and Iraq, a familiar clutch of neoconservatives appealed Friday for the United States and NATO to "immediately" prepare military action to help bring down the regime of Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi and end the violence that is believed to have killed well over a thousand people in the past week."

Neocon Analysts Push for Invasion of Libya

"CNN reports the Pentagon and NATO are ready to send troops into Libya under the cover of humanitarian assistance. CNN underscores the situation by stating that reports say Gaddafi will fight to the end and will seek martyrdom.Military intervention “is something which I hope doesn’t happen, but it looks as though at some point that it should happen,” Simon Henderson, senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, told CNN.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy is a fanatical neocon operation. It supports the positions of the Likud and other racist warmongers in Israel. It was founded by Martin Indyk, the former research director of AIPAC.

WINEP is also involved with the Council on Foreign Relations in policymaking on the bogus war on manufactured terrorism and the intelligence created network of radical Islamists.

“What’s an acceptable number of civilian deaths? I don’t know. Choose your figure,” Henderson said. “At the very least, instead of having a casualty list certainly in the hundreds, possibly in the thousands, we don’t want a casualty list numbering in the tens of thousands, or 100,000 or so.”

WINEP was intimately involved with Douglas Feith’s Office of Special Plans making the case – including cooking up bogus intelligence and scary WMD stories – for the illegal invasion of Iraq that ultimately resulted in the murder of over a million Iraqis, so any crocodile tears over the lives of Arabs is disingenuous, to say the least.

Bush era diplomat Nicholas Burns, who sits on the board of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and is more or less a permanent fixture at the Pentagon psyop CNN these days, says Moammar will probably go out in destructive fashion. “You’ve got to assume the worst about Moammar Gaddafi,” he said. “With his back to the wall, he’s going to go out in a blaze of vicious attacks.”

Other prominent neocons seem to be a bit more reticent. Propagandist Robert Kagan, who served as an advisor for the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq – or rather the committee for the invasion and destruction of Iraq – told CNN the global elite are not “talking about immediate military actions now.” In other words, attacking Libya is a distinct possibility. It may just take some time to get things rolling.

Kagan is a founding member of Project for the New American Century – the organization most responsible for creating the ideological underpinnings of the Iraq invasion – and is also a globalist stooge at the Council on Foreign Relations. He worked in the State Department.

Ibrahim Sharqieh, deputy director of Brookings Doha Center in Qatar, interpreted Kagan’s statement as indicating that military force remains a possibility. “In my opinion, it’s still premature to talk about U.S. military intervention in Libya at this point, but we should not eliminate it completely,” Sharqieh said.

The Brookings Institute takes money from the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the United Nations, JP Morgan Chase, Shell Oil, the World Economic Forum, and no shortage of other transnational banks and corporations. It is a premier globalist operation.

Meanwhile, Obama and Secretary of State Clinton are busy building the required attack consensus."

Meanwhile, american MSM is not only sensationalizing everything they can about Libyan protests, they're releasing bullshit stories, innuendo and made up garbage. Remember Gaddafi in Venezuela? You want riot porn? You got it. Over and over. As usual Faux leads the way in softening american suckers up in this stampede to invade the country. - "Those Close To Gaddafi Say He's Ready To Use Chemical Weapons On Protesters!"
Ya think? Maybe the propagandists will bombard us with pictures like this one, supposedly a starving muslim held in a concentration camp by Swarthy Serbs, who happened to be villains du jour in the 1990s leading up to getting pulverized by NATO in 1999:

Only it was a refugee camp, the photographer had crawled into a barbed wire enclosed area and was actually filming out at refugees, free to come and go, one of whom was sick. Those Serbian brutes!

Or, one would think they might resort to emotion tugging theatrics like the Kuwaiti Baby Incubator Hoax to ratchet up the feelings of hatred, where some sobbing girl said swarthy Iraqis in a hospital yanked the sweet little cherubs out and threw them on the cold hard floor to die. The babycide never happened. The girl was actually the daughter of a Kuwaiti emir, and had been coached by the public relations firm Hill and Knowlton to give persuasive false testimony.

Well, whattya know - Libyan Troops Open Fire on the Patients in Hospitals in Tripoli
The brutes!

With a fifth of the population of Iraq, the US must be comfortable with a quarter of a million casualties and a million or so refugees - this being the equivalent of the cost of operation Iraqi Freedom. And as for Daffy using Chemtrails weapons (did I spell that right) I cannot understand why Faux Noise has a problem with that.

I sensed something wrong when Libya began and everything I've seen and heard since has confirmed my fears that it's an externally directed overthrow.
Daffy's always been a preening shmuck, only for two decades he's been pretty willing to sidle up to the ziofascists, but because of his islamist socialism and his nationalism he was too unstable and had to go, leaving the biggest oil producer in Africa up for grabs.
People should ask themselves this Michael - why would the citizens of a country with the far highest per capita income on the whole continent need to go to war, not demonstrate against, but go to war with a ruler who pretty honestly, spread the oil wealth around?
