It Feels So Much Better When I Stop Hitting Myself In The Head With A Hammer

Asinine crappola like this makes me wonder if life is now a constant LSD trip from college days.

Bundle Up, It’s Global Warming

"THE earth continues to get warmer, yet it’s feeling a lot colder outside. Over the past few weeks, subzero temperatures in Poland claimed 66 lives; snow arrived in Seattle well before the winter solstice, and fell heavily enough in Minneapolis to make the roof of the Metrodome collapse; and last week blizzards closed Europe’s busiest airports in London and Frankfurt for days, stranding holiday travelers. The snow and record cold have invaded the Eastern United States, with more bad weather predicted.
All of this cold was met with perfect comic timing by the release of a World Meteorological Organization report showing that 2010 will probably be among the three warmest years on record, and 2001 through 2010 the warmest decade on record.
How can we reconcile this? The not-so-obvious short answer is that the overall warming of the atmosphere is actually creating cold-weather extremes
."

This isn't science. This is stupidity. The same shitty rag that sold the Iraq invasion and slaughter to a gullible public is now trying to sell some new rotten fish to what it hopes are the same fools. This isn't science, this is a political agenda.
Don't believe your lying eyes, believe us instead.
One hot summer I once had a job that was pretty dirty and we all took showers after the shift was over. There was one guy who I worked with that happened to be in the national guard, clean cut during the hippy days, mom and apple pie, that sort of mindset. I'll never forget him for one thing he tried telling me. He said the best way to cool off was to take the hottest shower you could because when the water was turned off the hot air would actually feel a whole lot cooler to you.
That profound wisdom is just about how I feel concerning this "global warming causes record cold" idiocy.
