As far as emergency toiletry goes it's essential to do it right or you could get in big trouble with disease, something that may impact everything else about contined existence. You cannot have too much toilet paper. If you're alive, you need it.
A cheap, very effective toilet for when the bathroom becomes useless goes like this - get a sturdy five gallon bucket ($5 from Home Depot) and a replacement toilet seat ($10 - $12 from same). The two I got fit together surprisingly well.
Lay in as big a supply of 13 gallon trash bags as you can. Line the bucket with a bag and replace as needed. Voila. You should already have a good supply of bleach for disinfectant and maybe something to cut the odors. This cheap setup along with a several gallon black plastic or rubber bag to put in the sun to warm up for a shower will keep you clean, which is positively, absolutely essential when it all comes unglued.

added - Dare to Prepare: Collapse of Civilization Now Guaranteed

"It has been written" as the saying goes. For many generations there have been small groups of people who have researched and protested the criminal nature of our rulers who cast their disease on civilization. These activists screamed truth to the masses about humanity's hidden slavery, yet few listened.
However, the injustices have now become too extreme, too obvious, that the truth has risen to near critical mass with the independent-minded population. And indeed many more sheep, who unknowingly fund their own prison, are waking up by the minute.
But can this mass awakening prevent our civilization from collapsing during this detonation period?
Sorry folks, the answer is no."

added - BTW, from the last depression these are the accepted definitions of people forced out of their homes:

A Hobo is a person that travels to work.
A tramp is a person that travels and won't work.
A bum is a person that will neither travel or work.
