Rogue kidney brokers resell organs from poorest nations on black market
"The international black market for kidneys — preying on the desperate and run by a shadowy network of greedy organ brokers — is flourishing, a Daily News probe found.
The arrest of a Brooklyn man Thursday on organ trafficking charges sheds a new spotlight on an underground business where wretchedly poor foreigners — particularly in India — are paid $2,000 to $10,000 for kidneys.
Those kidneys are ultimately sold for as much as $180,000 to transplant recipients who otherwise could die."
It seems it gets far worse as the "donors" are lured into this unholy business by offers of jobs and then forced to "donate" a kidney at the point of a gun. More probing into this will also find that a lot of people, mostly young children from Africa, vanish after all of the usable parts, lungs, liver, corneas, kidneys, are harvested and the corpse is cremated.
A woman named Nancy Schepper-Hughes from UC Berkeley has been investigating this butchery for a decade and tried to warn law enforcement in this country years ago but got nowhere.
"The illegal enterprise is centered in Israel,” she said. “Donors are found in poor countries like Moldovia, Romania, China, all over. Operations are conducted in several countries. For a long time the main place was Turkey."

"I had begun to unravel a huge network -- a criminal network that really looks like, smells like, kind of a mafia. The head office of the pyramid scheme originated in Israel, with brokers placed in Turkey; in New York City; in Philadelphia; in Durban; in Johannesburg; in Recife, Brazil; Moldova -- all over the place. And I used my ethnographic investigative skills to just go country-hopping and try to connect the dots."
This whole dirty and very lucrative business couldn't exist without governments and institutions being in on the scheme. Since the end recipients are wealthy the largess is spread around according to Rosenbaum, so law enforcement turns a blind eye and medical policies are relaxed at hospitals.
Two years ago Chad authorities nailed French nationals trying to kidnap 103 so called orphans from Sudan's Darfur region, who ranged in age from one to ten years old:
"L'Arche de Zoe, or Zoe's Arc, said it had arranged French host families for the children to save them from possible death in Sudan's western Darfur region."
"Chad's president denounced it as a "straightforward kidnapping" and promised punishment for those involved."
French authorities went to bat for the "charity" and even president Sarkozy flew to Africa to get the people involved out of there. But later the real story was exposed and all the kids were abducted from remote villages and most of them weren't even orphans. Kids' organs are preferred because they're young and healthy with their parts lasting a long time, while people who die of old age and diseases leave barely usable organs.
L'Arche de Zoe or Zoe's Ark is a zionist front and there were Israeli nurses on board the plane that was going to spirit them out of the country, and most assuredly spirit their usable parts out of their soon to be carcasses.
