Speaker Wants To Keep Shoveling Your Money To The Banksters

Pelosi signals willingness to add to TARP funds

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Sunday the federal government may need to pump more taxpayer funds into the faltering banking system and that taxpayers should receive equity as compensation.
Pelosi told ABC's "This Week" program that "some increased investment" might be needed beyond the $700 billion approved last year under the Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP, to stabilize the nation's banks and get them to resume making loans."

$1.6B in TARP Money Bails Out Corporate Executives

"The Associated Press has completed a fascinating study. It finds that around $1.6 billion in TARP money was paid out to corporate executives. Per the article, the benefits were paid out to around 600 executives and included “cash bonuses, stock options, personal use of company jets and chauffeurs, home security, country club memberships and professional money management.”
