Fay gets stronger over Florida

Tropical Storm Fay's stamina has hurricane forecasters shaking their heads in amazement

"Tropical Storm Fay rolled ashore in southwest Florida on Tuesday morning short of hurricane strength -- but it mysteriously gained strength throughout the day as it headed over land, bringing heavy rain, high wind and tornadoes.Despite rolling up the state, the storm actually increased its wind strength by 5 mph and formed a well-defined eye wall. It's now forecast to reach hurricane strength on Wednesday off the coast of Daytona Beach."
