On The Boxer - Rice Dustup

Laura Knight - Jadczyk at Signs of the Times has an interesting take on neocons' favorite current phony outrage, the supposed slight that happened between Barbara Boxer and Kindasleazy. Boxer's comment came during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing Thursday in which Rice was questioned on President Bush's new war plans.

Boxer said that both she and Rice weren't going to sacrifice because of their individual circumstances, but a lot of other families were going to suffer from Codpiece's Iraqi troop buildup. To the deranged brownshirts this was translated as insulting Rice as unmarried/childless/black or something. Wingnut bloggodumps went ballistic with indignation. Here's what she said:

Since this horrible affront centered around motherhood and chidbearing, Jadczyk suggests that perhaps there is something questionable about Kindasleazy's understanding of motherhood after all.
When zionists were bombing the shit out of Lebanon last summer Rice was quick to come to poor Israel's defense (as well as the fascists sending more cluster bombs as fast as they could) with this delightful comparison:

"Condoleezza Rice has described the plight of Lebanon as a part of the "birth pangs of a new Middle East" and said that Israel should ignore calls for a ceasefire.
"This is a different Middle East. It's a new Middle East. It's hard, We're going through a very violent time," the US secretary of state said."
