Ready For Another Fraudulent Election?

There are two inescapable realities with the upcoming Diebold selection process - the bushista regime cannot lose to to the democrats and the Rovian manipulation machine will not let that happen. The evidence is there in the public domain even though the MSM is constantly striving to keep people distracted from it. The last three "election" cycles were corrupted. Anyone who thinks this next one - probably the most important watershed in the history of the country - will be different is insane.

By any measure, most of the country is alienated by the fascist agenda, if not repulsed by it. In a better world the pro war, pro corruption water carriers would be tossed out on their ears. But why won't that happen? Losing control of congress would mean the vast litany of crimes that have been committed since 2000 would be scrutinized and the bushistas might face prosecution and imprisonment. The fascist agenda can't be disrailed at this point, not after going for broke from 9/11 onward, so they'll do what it takes to make sure the perceived outcome is in their favor.

The manipulators have been pretty active lately. Voter rosters have been purged in key states. There's been a lot of speculation that the price of gas dropped recently to make voters a lot more sanguine about the way things are going. That the verdict in Saddam's show trial was scheduled to be announced two days before election day has Rove's fingerprints all over it.
"This is the last full news-cycle day in the U.S. before the elections…and the American public will see Saddam condemned to death and see it as a positive thing."
Then of course they have the always reliable Diebold touch screen machines. And when all else fails they can just make shit up.

Whatever the strategy that our overlords employ, expect confusion and chaos in many places on November 7. The MSM is certainly cranking up the expectations for a huge clusterfuck that day. We always should remember that the manipulators work best in a chaotic environment; it's much easier to hide what they're doing that way.

More eleemosynary observers of this charade would assume that the beleaguered criminals are faced with only two tough choices - rig this election and risk the exposure of outright fraud when the results are so wacked or allow the democrats to take congress with all the danger that entails. But of course these soulless cretins don't think along the same lines we do.
From Billmon:

Some Republican strategists are increasingly upset with what they consider the overconfidence of President Bush and his senior advisers about the midterm elections November 7 -- a concern aggravated by the president's news conference this week.
"They aren't even planning for if they lose," says a GOP insider who informally counsels the West Wing.

The aircraft carrier Eisenhower, accompanied by the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio, guided-missile destroyer USS Ramage, guided-missile destroyer USS Mason and the fast-attack submarine USS Newport News, is, as I write, making its way to the Straits of Hormuz off Iran. The ships will be in place to strike Iran by the end of the month. It may be a bluff. It may be a feint. It may be a simple show of American power. But I doubt it.

"If I were a Republican, I'd start praying that something happens to take the spotlight away from Iraq and scandals, because this current issue mix is lethal." Charlie Cook
