5 Stories

We're being nibbled to death by ducks. Bleeding to death from a thousand wounds. Slowly boiled in that pot of water along with all those other frogs.
Just cruising the data highway for a few minutes, the only conclusion a person can come to is that the system we are living in is collapsing into a repressive living hell.

1. A guy sold a whopping 24 ounces of pot in three sales and got 55 years in prison with no hope of parole. The heinous crime was exacerbated by a gun in his pocket. His appeal was "accompanied by an amicus brief, filed by four former U.S. attorneys general (Janet Reno, Benjamin Civiletti, Griffin Bell and Nicholas Katzenbach), former FBI director William S. Sessions and nearly 160 other ex-Justice Department officials and federal judges, arguing the sentence was so excessive as to constitute "cruel and unusual punishment."
The precedent for this case? The presumption of guilt keeps you behind bars.

Presumably when I say in this blog that the moronic piece of shit that resides in the white house should be impeached and go to prison, and said POS takes offense, I'm breaking the law and will do serious time myself.

5. The filthy treatment of New Orleans residents and the land grab go on and the corrupt mainstream media continues to ignore it all. Thousands are dead but that don't mean shit. But little boots will pull off one of his phoney photo ops and that non story gets big play.

So justice is nonexistent in the courts, the fascists have free rein to violate your privacy, everything you own can be stolen by the government, free speech is now outlawed, and corporate media won't tell you the truth about any important subject.
